Amy Nelson

Co-Founder and CEO of The Riveter, a first-to-the-market cowork social venture.

A captivating leader, world traveler, and true connector, Amy is committed to creating a space for women to build powerful businesses and balanced lives. She believes deeply in the power of women helping women.

Amy has spent a lifetime bringing people together and finding solutions that work. She worked on strengthening democratic processes in Latin America and Ethiopia with The Carter Center, and practiced corporate litigation for more than a decade in a career that took her from Wall Street during the financial crisis, to a major wireless provider in Seattle. She competed in marathons and triathlons, and helped to build a national political-fundraising organization for young Americans from the ground up. Amy is a graduate of Emory University and the New York University School of Law.

Amy is also a mother to two beautiful little girls, Sloane and Reese, and is excitedly expecting another baby in September 2017. When not at or evangelizing about The Riveter, you’ll likely find Amy building forts with the girls and her husband, Carl, figuring out a solution to childcare (right?), or recovering after another high-intensity interval training workout.
