Q: Is this a boat race?
A. Nope. It’s a play on words.

Q: What exactly is the Women in Tech Regatta?
A: It’s a resource fair meets mentor breakout sessions kind-of event. All to bring the tech community together and to thrive off each other!

Q: Who is this event for?
A. We welcome all members of the tech community, including but not limited to, CEOs, Founders, CTOs, CMOs, Product Managers, Developers/Engineers, Early Stage Start ups, Late Stage Start ups, HR, Recruiters, Dev managers, Program Managers, Trainers, Designers, and MEN! Basically, if you’re interested in connecting to resources to advance your career, join us for an evening of epic resourceful proportions!

Q: Should I go alone or should I go with friends?
A: Go it alone and make new friends, or bring your friends and co-workers. It’s all up to you!

Q: What will I get? What’s the main takeaway?
A. You will walk away with new friends, new ideas, and fresh perspectives to apply to your career.

Q: Will I be able to go to all of these sessions?
A.  Multiple sessions might be scheduled at the same time, aside from not being able to be in two places at once, your ticket gives you access to all WiT Regatta sessions!

Q: Will there be refreshments?
A. Absolutely! Each venue offers drinks and light eats but we recommend you eat beforehand.

Q: What is the dress code at any of the events?
A. There is none! Come as you are!

Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Some of our venues are secured spaces, please bring a government issue ID. It’s also recommended to bring business cards to exchange with your new mentor or friends!

Q: How much does it cost?
A:  $219 gets you a pass to our opening and closing parties + over 50 events throughout the week.

Q: Where will the events be located?
A:  Every year we host the Regatta at various venues around South Lake Union. Get a peek inside local tech companies and beautiful co-working spaces in the area! Click here to see a map of all of our locations!

Q: Where do I pick up my badge?
A: Each attendee will create their red WiT Regatta badge at the first session they attend. We ask that badges stay with you at all times throughout the week for easier check in at each session.

Q: Is there parking or shuttle service?
A:  There is metered street parking in the area. No shuttle service – but we’ve teamed up with Lime Bike to place bikes at each one of our locations! *Plus it’s earth day on 4/22!*

Additional Parking Info:

  • Expedia: There is paid parking under the building (entrance is at Mercer/Elliot). There is also free parking on Elliot, West sidewalk, one block before and one block after the building – signs are very clear).

Q: I’m a new mom, is there a place to breastfeed while attending the event?
A:  Yes! Each venue has a place to breastfeed, just let one of the crew/venue staff know and we’ll direct you where to go!

Q: I have a disability, is there easy access to all sessions?
A: We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact witregatta@gmail.com.

Q: Is there a place for me to work in between sessions?
A:  Yes! Our office is your office —NEW this year, bring your laptop because we’ve got a place for you to hang out and work remotely, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily at Atlas Workbase, ThinkSpace, The Collective, WeWork and Even Hotels. Just show them your WiT Regatta badge and check in!
