Melody Biringer | WiT Regatta

Founded in 2013 in Seattle, Women in Technology (WIT) was a not-for-profit organization which  supported women through education and networking opportunities at quarterly events.  WIT also endeavored to raise funds and visibility for mission-aligned nonprofit partners.

Melody Biringer, an original board member of WiT, created and produced the WiT Regatta through her firm The Crave Company. The inaugural Seattle Women in Tech Regatta was on Tuesday, May 2nd 2017, with over 700 attendees.

In 2018 the Regatta expanded to a week-long event in Vancouver BC, Amsterdam, as well as Seattle.  The Regatta has grown in attendance and sponsorship support from the beginning, and will continue to be presented as a virtual, hybrid, and live event as circumstances allow.
